Errachidia sits in the Ziz Valley, roughly two hours by road from the Erg Chebbi dunes, which makes its airport the quickest way into the Moroccan Sahara. Land, drive south through the palm groves of the Ziz and Tafilalet oases, and spend your first night in a desert camp in Merzouga.
From the dunes you can continue north to Fes through the Ziz gorges and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, or west to Marrakech via the Todra Gorge, the Dades Valley and Aït Ben Haddou. Every tour is private, with your own vehicle and driver-guide.
